Our team will review your request and work with you to resolve any concerns promptly and efficiently.
What Your Warranty Covers
Limited Warranty – 1 Year
Buckeye Trailers and Fab Co. LLC warrants to the original purchaser that each trailer is free from defective workmanship and materials under normal use and service for one (1) year from the date of pickup.
Structural Coverage Includes:
- Frame
- Side rails
- Cross members
- Welds
- Subframe assemblies
In the event of a covered defect, Buckeye Trailers may:
- Correct or replace defective parts at our facility, or
- Reimburse the purchaser or an authorized repair shop at a reasonable shop rate, up to the number of labor hours that the repair would require if performed at Buckeye’s facility, or
- Authorize repairs by an approved repair facility.
All warranty work must be pre-authorized and include photos of the affected parts.
What Is Not Covered
Buckeye Trailers will not warrant components not manufactured by Buckeye. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Axles and axle components
- Tires and wheels
- Couplers, jacks, suspension components, springs
- Wiring, lights, and electrical parts
- Paint, including chipping, fading, or aging
- Accessories or add-on parts
Normal wear items are also excluded:
- Brakes, tires, bearings, axle seals, light bulbs
- Fading or cracking of flooring and decking materials
Other exclusions:
- Damage caused by improper maintenance (bearing adjustment, tire pressure, torque, etc.)
- Overloading, abuse, or misuse
- Trailers used for rental purposes
- Any modification or alteration made without prior approval
Freight, transportation, or incidental costs (such as lost time, lodging, rental expenses, towing, or storage fees) are not covered under any circumstances.
Disclaimer:
Some components not covered by Buckeye Trailers may carry their own manufacturer warranties (e.g., Dexter Axle, tire, or winch). Buckeye Trailers will make these available when applicable and is happy to assist customers in resolving any trailer issues, whether under Buckeye’s warranty or a supplier’s coverage.
Your Maintenance Responsibilities
Proper maintenance protects your trailer and keeps your warranty valid. Perform these checks regularly:
- Grease & adjust wheel bearings
- Inspect and inflate tires to correct pressure
- Check brakes and replace worn pads as needed
- Tighten bolts and fasteners periodically
- Keep loads within rated GVWR
Neglect of maintenance may void your warranty.
